MoCA
is an middleware architecture for development of context- and location-aware mobile applications, which consists of Client and Server APIs, a set of basic services, an event service, and a Framework for application-level proxies.
It is intended to be used for applications with mobile clients on infra-structured wireless networks. The current version is implemented in Java (J2SE and J2ME), works with 802.11 wireless networks and is based on the IP protocol stack.
Main Characteristics:
Former Participants
So far, we have developed several context- and location-aware applications and frameworks using MoCA.
